We are excited and honored to offer creekside healing sessions. Based on Native-American teachings passed down by Stalking Wolf through Tom Brown to Karl Direske, our healing technique is called with an Apache name, Niasziih (prounounced “nye-uh-zee-eye”), which means Healing Vessel. Niasziih healers are vessels for healing, working with nature, awareness and contact to meet clients’ needs on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
Typical sessions will involve a client laying on a massage table fully clothed (except for shoes) with a blanket or sheet (depending on temperature). Sessions have some parallel with a therapeutic massage, but the focus is not just physical. Clients often feel a range of sensations, including warmth, images, emotions, memories, pulsing and energy, deep relaxation and calm.
Sessions generally last 50 minutes, and we invite clients to stay a full hour to discuss the experience afterwards.
Who is this for? Anyone. Everyone. Sessions are offered to whomever wishes to join us on this healing journey. You do not need to have a medical complaint to benefit from a healing.
We offer regular sessions on many Sunday afternoons and by appointment. Please review this calendar to find a Sunday session, or contact us for an appointment.
