Meatballs

In medium size mixing bowl, mix together:
1/2 thumb turmeric, chopped fine
1/2 thumb fresh ginger, chopped fine
3 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1/2 onion, chopped fine
salt and pepper to taste (about 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon each)

Take 2/3rds of this and saute in coconut oil, lard, ghee or butter.
After lightly browned, put in glass saucepan with about 1/2 cup bone broth and approximately 1/4 cup tomato paste.
Simmer.

Take remaining 1/3rd of spice mix and mix with:

1 lb grass fed organic beef or other ground meat
2 eggs or 1 duck egg
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1-2 tablespoons cornmeal

Form this into SMALL meatballs (about 3/4 inch in diameter) and cook in medium hot frying pan, rolling to get all sides browned. When cooked, place meatballs into sauce and allow to simmer for another 30 or so minutes.
